Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and White Feather Films, the keenly awaited Shootout at Wadala, based on a true shocking story, is Bollywood's first official prequel. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, this action-drama stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Kangna Ranaut, Manoj Bajpai, Tushar Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ronit Roy, Siddhant Kapoor and many more. John Abraham plays the role of Manya Surve, a Maharashtran lad, who formed Mumbai's first Hindu gang, and was also the first to be "encountered" by the then Inspector Issaq Bagwan (played by Anil Kapoor) and his team. The music is given by Anu Malik.
