After the glittering Sangeet ceremony, Bollywood legend Bappi Lahiri's son, Composer Bappa Lahiri tied the knot with Taneesha Verma amidst exquisite settings at the ITC Grand Sheroton at Andheri last evening. With the stage set for the mega wedding and the family and friends making their way to the beautifully adorned venue; the Groom dressed in a designer Beige Sherwani with embedded Gold work on it arrived in a regal double horse drawn chariot amidst widespread cheers. In a traditional gesture; Bappa got off his appointed horse, drew his sword from his scabbard and touched the picture of the Goddess at the entrance which was wonderfully adorned with flowers of all hues. Taneesha then emerged, dressed in a Red and Gold Lehnga; looking every bit the decked up Bride of the moment. Happiness was writ large on everybody's faces and the air was abuzz with anticipation. Bappi Da himself was dressed to the tee in his trademark gold accessories, shades and traditional Bengali Dhoti and Sherwa
