Presidential Honour For Madhur Bhandarkar

Pratibha Patil honoured Madhur Bhandarkar with Presidential award at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. He has made a different slot of social relevance for himself when it comes to movie making in Hindi Cinema. And no one has so far been able to come on the same playing level field as filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who continues to contribute some of the most entertaining and yet relevant movies of our times. He has been awarded the most prestigious National Awards for the work he has done so far on many occasions. The Ministry of Human Resource Development, India wanted to acknowledge Madhur's contributions to Hindi language cinema under the Hindi Service Awards Scheme.
