Ram Charan and his longtime girlfriend Upasana got engaged on Thursday evening. The betrothal ceremony was held on Dec 1st, 2011 at 7.05 pm at a farm house called Temple Trees near Moinabad in Hyderabad. With the blessings and presence of Ram Charan's family - megastar Chiranjeevi and mother Surekha, grandmother Anjana Devi, uncles Nagababu and Pavan Kalyan and the bride - to - be's family consisting of Upasana's parents Anil and Shobhana Kamineni, grandfather C Pratap Reddy, Chairman of Apollo Group and paternal grandfather Umapathi Rao, the couple got engaged in traditional manner.
